First off, you need a date! You may ask, how do I get a date? Well, if you don’t have someone in mind or a significant other then you can always just spend Valentine’s Day with a good friend of yours. There is nothing wrong with that! You don’t have to be in a relationship to spend the day with someone you love or care about. You can always use that day to spoil someone you enjoy being around, or be spoiled by them!

Not into the whole “fancy” date? Another idea could be to just create a ‘movie theater’ in your home with a screen projector and treats and drinks! You can easily set up a romantic movie room and choose a romantic movie, and it can still be sentimental and fun! You can even set up a nice dinner at your home, with your partner’s favorite meal, drink, and dessert. Even the simple things are sweet but can still be meaningful and make someone feel spontaneous that day.

Remember, Valentine’s Day isn’t all about what you do, but how you feel when you’re around your significant other or close friend. It’s about the love and the happiness you feel when you are with that person, whether it’s a best friend, girlfriend, or boyfriend. All that is important is that you’re showing those people how much you love them and care about them. Make Valentine’s special this year, you don’t have to go crazy but you also don’t need to follow the stereotype of flowers and chocolate. Do what you and your partner enjoy on Valentine’s Day, do something that makes you both happy, and do something where you can really feel the love between you guys. And lastly, even if you already let your significant other know you love them, make sure to do it a lot more on Valentine’s Day. Don’t just say it, show it! ♥️
