Drama Banquet Results

Another successful banquet has occurred Wednesday on May 18 with many different awards, announcements and recognition of those who have made the drama department better. The awards ceremony showcased many different actors and techies and their accomplishments, but the three main awards chosen by Mr. Criman himself were given to Joseph Stanley for “Best Thespian”, Lethia Tuimaseve for “Best Techie”, and Amber Berrett for “Spirit of Mountain View”. All of these people are very deserving of the awards they received!
After the award ceremony was the announcing of the Thespian Presidency. The list is as follows:

Improv Captains- Alex Case & Kelson Lopez
Makeup Mistress- Cassie Collins
After all the excitement around the awards and presidency, the banquet came to what most people say is their favorite event of the day. The announcing of the shows for the year 2016-17! Mr.Criman and Mr.Randell where the people who announced the shows and had a very fun time doing it, as everyone else watched with dreaded anticipation. The order of the show’s disclosed is as followed: The fall shakespeare show is “The Wives of Winsdor”, the fall musical is “The Little Mermaid”, the senior show is “Carry on Mr. Bowditch”, the straight play is “The Importance of Being Earnest”, the spring musical is “Spitfire Grill”. Next year will be keeping the tradition of excellence that mountain views drama department has set.
