Food is enjoyed by all Mountain View students. Sometimes we fall into eating the same old food combinations. While there is comfort in eating reliably good food, some students like the excitement of eating new and questionable food combinations.
“Root Beer and eggnog is pretty good,” Sam Lindasy said. You can thank Sam for introducing us to this odd spin off of a rootbeer float.
Max Wright makes his own version of a Reese’s peanut butter cup. He said“ I like to grab a bag of chocolate chips and dump them into a jar of peanut butter and eat it with a spoon.”
Looking for a way to get rid of those bananas before they go old? Try Noah Harper’s weird food combination “ A sandwich with mayo and bananas”
We all know toast with jam is a go to food combination. Lucy Farmer decided that that was too boring and made a “grilled cheese sandwich with jam”.
Do you love cheese? some would even say cheese can go with anything. This brought to the creation of “apple slices and cheddar cheese,” Addison Francis said.
Like peanut butter and pickles? What about pickles and nutella? “Don’t knock it til’ you try it,” Haylee Patten said.
Next time you’re eating a snack, consider stepping outside of the culinary comfort zone like these few Mountain View students. Create a new, and possibly weird food combination for some excitement in the kitchen.
