Admin Spotlight: Mr. Flinders
Have you met Mr. Flinders yet? Mountain View’s new Assistant Principal is here!
Mr.Flinders got here in early January and has since been helping our staff at Mountain View. When asked about the recent transition to our beautiful high school Mr.Flinders said, “The students and the staff are kind and patient, making the transition from Lehi to Mountain View a lot easier.”
Mr. Flinders went to college at Southern Utah University. He was an Administrator at Polaris High School for half a year and taught at Lehi High School for 8 years, and not only was he a teacher at Lehi, he also was a coach! He was the Baseball Head Coach at Lehi for 4 years, and an Athletic Administrator for 2 years, being in Lehi for a total of 14 years!
When I asked him about advice he would give a Student at Mountain View to not only be successful in school but also in life he said, ”If you don’t prioritize your life someone else will, prioritize yourself.” Meaning to take care of your own life or someone else will take care of it for you.
Outside of school, Mr. Flinder likes fishing and hiking.
We welcome you with open arms to our beautiful school Mr. Flinders, and we are thankful to have you! Go Bruins!
