Witcher 3 game director starts new studio

CD Projekt Red is the game studio credited as the industry leader in creating role playing games. Pumping out games such as ‘The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt’ and ‘Cyberpunk 2077.’ The developers working for them have plenty of experience with making great games. A few of these developers have decided to start the game studio, “Rebel Wolves.”

The new studio’s website rebel-wolves.com had the tagline “from gamers for gamers,” has since changed to “forming the pack” and their homepage has what equates to a mission statement or goal “We want to create amazing virtual worlds, filled to the brim with powerful emotions and unique experiences. Most of all, we want to share our boundless passion for video games.”

Their Mission is to accomplish two main goals. The first of which is to “revolutionize the RPG genre. We love these games, we’ve been playing and making them for decades and would like to take them further.” The second is to “create a studio where developers can thrive, united by a common goal and a sense of camaraderie. Our priority is the team, and the team’s priority is to create the best RPG games the world has seen.”

About their first upcoming game, co-founder Konrad Tomaszkiewicz described it as “a dark fantasy, story-focused open-world AAA RPG.” Their website says “We’re currently working on a AAA, story-driven RPG saga for PCs and next-gen consoles. We’ll have more to share soon. Trust us – you’ll be hooked.” Not much is known about their project. Still, it’s safe to say there is potential.
