For this month’s teacher spotlight, it goes to Mrs. Tonga! She is our special education teacher here at Mountain View. She grew up in San Jose, California. Her hobbies include tap dancing, water coloring, reading and doing puzzles. She attended BYU, majoring in sociology. She chose to teach because she enjoys working with other students and seeing the progress they make. Her favorite part of teaching is interacting and working with students. Her favorite part about Mountain View is how friendly and nice the students and faculty are. To top it off I asked her a quote she could give the world. She responded, “you don’t know what people are going through, so be nice.”
