Senioritis

It’s finally the last year of highschool, maybe even the last couple months. Here at Mountain View High School the students are on edge with Graduation coming up, with having to take the huge civics exam, and having to prepare that all grades are at the highest to end school on a good note.
What is senioritis? According to Urban Dictionary it is, “A crippling disease that strikes high school seniors. Symptoms include: laziness, an over-excessive wearing of track pants, old athletic shirts, sweatpants, athletic shorts, and sweatshirts, Also features a lack of studying, repeated absences. The only known cure is a phenomenon known as Graduation.”
The civics exam consists of 50 questions that seniors have to score a 70% or higher to pass, if not passed the first time it’s ok students are allowed to take it until passing, The study sheet consists of 100 possible questions that could be on the test. The test is required to graduate.
How do Mountain View High School seniors feel during this last month of school?
First student said, “The year is finally coming to an end but I don’t have the motivation to have perfect attendance anymore.”
Second student said, “ I can’t wait to graduate. My senior year was perfect but I feel lazy but luckily things are getting easier.”
Third student said, “This year is easy and mostly online so there’s no point in having to try to show up and look good for school.”
This proves that school is almost over and senioritis is really hitting the seniors this year and just waiting for the big day of Graduation.
