Mountain View Boy’s Basketball team took home a W in the FreeTaxUSA Shootout tournament. Mountain View beat Charlotte Christian 72-63. The Bruins beat Charlotte Christian, a high school from North Carolina. Charlotte Christian is the alma mater of nba all-star Steph Curry’s. It was a close game, but for most of the game Charlotte Christian held a lead. At the half the score was 27-28 Charlotte Christian. Brigham Bateman went off in the second half and brought MV back. Junior, Kedrick Clayton really contributed scoring 12 points from the start of the second half to start of the fourth. Both Clayton’s huge 26 points, and Bateman’s 30 were essential to mountain view victories. MV is excited to see what this duo can do the rest of the season. #MVSplashBrothers? ​
